In a specialized clinic for eczema (that treated more than 7000 patients) PLATATEX textiles were tested for a period of 3 months confirming the positive effect of the silver textiles. The strong antibacterial and antimycotic effect were proven. Eczema patients show a dense colonization of staphylococci bacteria on their skin due to a weakness or a defect in the immune system. The reduction of bacteria on the skin causes a clinical improvement of the skin's condition, e.g. less redness and iching also improving a patient's sleep. This constitutes a decisive step in the progress of treating eczema.
